- There is a built in way to do it... Select all of the polygons in your object.
- Then, use Bevel with miniscule settings. This will move your existing
- polygons by very tiny increments and create the new faces to cover the
- resulting (tiny) gaps. The original polygons will still be selected.

- Now, from the Display screen in Modeler, select Invert to deselect your
- originals and select the new polygons. Cut those.

- You should now have what looks like your original object, except now all the
- original polygons are detached from one another.
